We're committed to creating an inclusive platform that everyone can use with confidence, continually improving accessibility to ensure a seamless experience for all users.
Our commitment
You may use our services for lawful purposes consistent with these terms. You agree to use the services in a manner that respects other users and complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Measures we take
We build and test against the following, and we are actively remediating the areas listed under Known limitations:
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components
- Keyboard access to interactive controls, with a visible focus indicator
- Text alternatives for images that convey meaning
- Accessible names and states on buttons, links, and form controls
- Text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Captions on video we produce ourselves
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- Consistent navigation, page structure, and heading hierarchy
- Form fields with associated labels and error messages that explain how to fix the problem
Known limitations
We know about the following issues and are working to fix them:
- FAQ accordions on the Support page are not exposed to assistive technology as expandable controls and cannot be reliably operated by keyboard.
- Merchant-supplied listing content, including images without text alternatives, is not always under our control. We ask partners to meet our content standards and will correct or remove content on request.
Technical specifications
Our platform relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WAI-ARIA, and SVG. Accessibility depends on these technologies being supported by your browser and any assistive technology you use. We test with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge and with NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android. Older browsers may not support everything we use.
