This Privacy Policy explains how Sayaty ("Sayaty", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Sayaty platform, website, mobile applications, and related services.
1. Information we collect

5. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Account records are retained while your account is active and for 3 months after closure. Transaction and billing records are kept for a year to meet tax and accounting obligations. Support correspondence is kept for 3 months. Server and security logs are kept for 7 days. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent, plus a suppression record so we can honour your opt-out. When a retention period ends we delete or irreversibly anonymise the data.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict processing; data portability; and withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@sayaty.com.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and strict access controls. No system is 100% secure; please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
We continually review and update our technical and organisational security measures to protect personal information from accidental loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
8. International transfers
Sayaty operates across multiple countries, and your data may be processed outside the jurisdiction where you live. When we transfer personal data across borders we rely on adequacy decisions and apply safeguards appropriate to the destination.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age required by applicable law without parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by law. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. Third-party services
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, payment providers, social media services, or other external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
11. Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you, for account creation, bookings, payments, and support; legitimate interests, for securing the platform, preventing fraud, and improving our services, balanced against your rights; consent, for marketing communications, non-essential cookies, and any optional features that request it, which you may withdraw at any time; and legal obligation, for tax, accounting, and lawful requests from authorities.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services and legal obligations evolve. When changes are material, for example a new purpose for processing or a new category of recipient, we will notify you by email or through an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent again. Continuing to use Sayaty after changes take effect means the updated policy applies to you. Previous versions may be made available where required by law.
